Rob Belkner
President
Rob brings 20+ years of athletic surfacing management and a master’s degree in economics to F.J. Roberts Sports Surfaces. His area of expertise includes a comprehensive understanding of the entire athletic surfacing process, from, product attribute tradeoffs, sales and estimating, contract negotiation, product procurement and project management. Rob believes in being a valuable resource to his clients, and working closely with the A&D community, local builders and end users to provide the highest quality product.
Work Philosophy: “For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a passion for athletics and competition. Through sports, I believe we can learn how to deal with failure, and how hard work can turn that failure into success. Being able to promote this awareness in people by providing great athletic surfaces to perform on is very purposeful for me.”
Jim Berrigan
Director of Sales and Marketing
A two-sport athlete in basketball and tennis at Framingham State University, Jim has been involved in college athletics nearly 30 years as both a player and later as Tennis Coach for the Men’s and Women’s teams at Wentworth Institute of Technology (4 years) and at Babson College (19 years). At Babson he was winningest coach in the history of both the men’s and women’s programs. After earning his MBA from Babson in 2015, he went on to teach a class in sports marketing in addition to his coaching duties. At FJ Roberts Sports Surfaces Inc, Jim is responsible for sales and marketing the many sports flooring options we offer.
Xan Alleyn
Assistant Project Manager
A graduate of Merrimack College with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Management. During his time at Merrimack he played 4 years of varsity soccer, contributing all 4 years and 2 of those years a full-time starter. During this experience he was able to use many of the products we market, from weight room and multipurpose floors to turf fields. Now at FJ Roberts Sports Surfaces Inc., he assists in daily operations management, project management, deliveries and project documentation.
Michelle Fulton
Project Manager
Michelle Fulton is responsible for materials ordering and handling, man power assignments and job documentation.
